The history of Tanzan jinja is very old and goes back to the Asuka period when Nakano-oeno-oji (next Emperor Tenchi) and Nakatomi no Kamatari (next Kamatari Fujiwara) played an active part. Having seized power these days is Mr. Monobe Moriya who managed military affairs in the Yamato Imperial Court, and had mighty influence. The powerful clan and the Soga family who ruined the Imperial Family's Yamashirono-Ooeno-Oh and was increasing power. It is a place which looks at behavior of the Soga family and has a talk with the Soga family pursuit to which Nakano-oeno-oji, the Imperial Household, is said as Taika Reform with Nakatomi no Kamatari about power revival of the Imperial Family and politics of Japan.
