Komyo-ji

It is the wallpaper of Kyoto Komyo-ji where autumnal leaves are beautiful.

In the head temple of the Nishiyama Jodo sect in the west and Nagaokakyo Aono in Kyoto, Kyoto Komyo-ji is a temple where autumnal leaves are very beautiful. It is said that the Honen saint had the Jodo sect of namu-amida-butsu preached for the first time here in 1175. The autumnal-leaves approach of Sanmon (Yakuimon) of Komyo-ji is famous. If a left-hand side way is progressed passing through the main gate which becomes an entrance and looking at Nyoninzaka to the right hand, there is a tunnel of this Sanmon and autumnal leaves. Right Nyoninzaka is previously reached in usual route, the Honen saint statue is seen, and it gets down from the shrine which is Hondo of Komyo-ji to the Shigaraki yard through a passage on stairs, and after seeing a garden, it is the usual route which looks at the tunnel of the autumnal leaves from Sanmon (Yakuimon). As for the admission fee of Komyo-ji in Kyoto Nagaokakyo, only the time of autumnal leaves costs 500 yen. Although a parking lot is located in the place which passed the right hand of the approach entrance to Komyo-ji, and the wood of the bamboo, the time of autumnal leaves costs 300 yen also here. However, in a parking lot, the time of autumnal leaves may be able to perform traffic congestion of the waiting for the opening of a parking lot before noon widely [ so ] (about 30 sets).
