It is a wallpaper photograph of the autumnal-leaves scenery of autumn photoed by Kaochidani-Syorenji lake.
Kaochidani and Syorenji lake are in Nabari-shi, Mie. Syorenji lake in the place into which it went for a while from the national highway No. 165 line which goes to a Nabari in the city is an artificial lake which dammed up and made the Syorenji river in 1970. Moreover, Syorenji lake is also an entrance to Kaochidani. It is said that the Syorenji lakeside is the cherry-blossom-viewing spot to which a cherry tree blooms in full bloom in spring. When it carries out, autumnal leaves have also already finished it as Syorenji lake for late autumn, and the blue color of the surface of a lake of a dam lake is very impressive in the silence by which people also seldom merely come. Kaochidani is a ravine which will come out if the Shorenji Dam lake is passed and it goes to the back more. A columnar joint is seen here and there, and it crosses and follows the section which is about 8km. The columnar joint of a tengu rock and the columnar joint of a 200-m-high precipitous cliff Kotaro rock are spectacular especially. The columnar joint of this Kaochidani increases beauty at the time of autumnal leaves much more again. It is the best time to see of the autumnal leaves of Kaochidani the end of October - early in November.
